Hello! My name is Simone, and I am a game designer. My dream and goal has always been to transform the ideas and passion of myself and my team into meaningful experiences for players, capable of surprising, exciting and educating.

UFO Cowtcher / 2023
"UFO Cowtcher" is a hyper-casual mobile game that mixes 2D hand-drawn sprites and 3D low-poly environments with an axonometric perspective inspired by the classic gacha UFO catching machine (toy vending machine).  In this game, players take on the role of a UFO hampered by a short supply of fuel that runs out over time, for this reason, the players' goal is to catch as many cows as possible to replenish this resource and make the game last longer. In their adventure across the galaxy, players will have to deal with tons of different types of cows, each with their own unique appearance and special abilities, as they try to escape the UFO.

My roles:

General Game Design:
  • Participation in Ideation processes of mechanics, theme and characters.
  • Participation in Rapid Prototyping and Testing processes.
  • Collection and analysis of tester feedback.
  • Participation in the Design and Writing of the game's tutorial.
Documentation Production:
  • Pitch Document - Blockout and Writing.
  • Game Design Document (GDD) - Blockout and Writing.
  • Feedback Reports - Blockout and Writing.

Special Roles:
  • Digital production of all the two-dimensional assets used in the project with MediBang software (Photoshop's free counterpart).

Input To Action / GMTK Game Jam 2023
"Input To Action" is a 2D puzzle platformer game created as a candidate for the "GMTK Game Jam 2023", whose theme was "Roles Reversed", where it placed in the TOP 5% of the final ranking. The game consists of 7 levels in which the player can control the game tutorial and change the rules of the game to their advantage.

  • Participation in the Ideation process of the Core Mechanic.
  • Design of secondary mechanics for puzzles:
    • Drone Control.
    • Pause Screen Control.
  • Participation in Rapid Prototyping and Testing processes.
Level Design
  • Design and prototyping of the game levels and puzzles.

Special Roles:
  • Production of most two-dimensional assets in pixel art.

Attila: Flagellum Day/ 2023
“Attila: Flagellum Day” is a survival, PvE videogame, where players step into the shoes of Attila the Ball, a powerful entity, born as an experiment about psychic powers, now fleeing from the laboratory where it has been created. The game's arena is littered with magical runes. players can create combinations of 3 runes to activate unique and varied effects to deal with the waves of enemies that will increasingly try to impede them.
